Sustainability: Oysters are incredible creatures—a single adult oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of seawater a day, while oyster reefs prevent coastal erosion and promote biodiversity. Furthering our commitment to sustainable farming in the ocean as well as on land, a portion of sales from each bottle of Ostreida go to a local non-profit dedicated to improving the long term heath of our oceans and communities. Non-profit partners include or have included: the Billion Oyster Project, helping restore New York Harbor’s oyster reefs alongside education initiatives and improved waterfront access, Greenwave, catalyzing regenerative ocean crop farming to yield economic and climate impacts, the Blue Ocean Society, protecting marine life in the Gulf of Maine through research, education and action, and Maine Aquaculture, supporting Maine’s aquatic farming sector.

Production Method: Using our made-from-scratch 100% organic corn base, we run a distillation with just-hauled-from-the-sea oysters in the actual still. Oyster shells from our production process are composted and our spent grains are sent to feed pigs and cows on a local farm. Each batch of Ostreida highlights oysters from a specific farm and region as indicated on the bottle’s neck tag, producing subtle variations in flavor to celebrate oysters’ unique “merroir”!

Ingredients: 100% organic wheat, tomatoes, pizza spices, and fresh, gooey mozzarella cheese.. 40% Alcohol by Volume, 375 and 750 ML.

Tasting Notes: Herbaceous and pizza-y notes of oregano and basil, flavors of savory garlic, umami tomato, baking dough and savory sauce. Weirdly comforting and undeniably delicious!

Production Method: Believed to be the first-ever pizza vodka, this spirit pays homage to a much beloved food in a boozy liquid form. After we created Pizza Strip vodka for our home state, we realized that ALL states should get to enjoy their own cheesy version of such a ridiculously fun spirit. Crafted using all natural ingredients, we start with a base of organic wheat alongside the finest herbs, spices and tomatoes, plus fresh mozzarella cheese. Then we distill the whole shebang so you’ve got the pizza… without the pizza!:
