MEET THE ISCO TEAM

MANYA

Manya K. Rubinstein, our CEO and a Co-Founder, is a food system, flavor and sustainable farming enthusiast. Equal parts obsessed with storytelling, regenerative agriculture, community building and playful experimentation, Manya is passionate about bringing the flavors, identity and weird magic of her adopted home in New England to bars and bottles across the country.

dan

Dan Neff, a Co-Head Distiller, is a skilled welder and artist with years of fermentation experience. Manya and Dan have known each other for over two decades as part of a creative community in the Valley neighborhood of Providence. Based on a shared dedication to making and a love of delicious items, the two decided to partner to bring craft distilling back to Providence back in the fall of 2016—good things truly do take time! (So. Much. Time.) Along the way the two have picked up some amazing partners and team members!

eric

Eric Olson, a Co-Head Distiller at ISCO, is a lifelong Rhode Islander with over two decades of experience managing kitchens of all shapes and sizes, a certified Master Gardener and grower of hops with a voracious passion for the fermented and distilled beverage community.

doug

CFO/COO Doug Randall has a lengthy background in finance and entrepreneurship. A Rhode Island native, Doug was initially drawn in by both the vision for the venture and the idea of creating a tangible product—especially a tangible product as delightful as whiskey!

CAIT

Cait Jackson, our Tasting Room Manager and Creative Director, has an extensive background in hospitality. In addition to helping to ensure superior Tasting Room experiences, Cait particularly enjoys helping those newer to spirits expand their palates. In her spare time, Cait enjoys planning her next traveling adventure, hosting movie nights with friends, and reading while snuggling up with her cats.

TYLER

Tyler DiMarco brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm culled from 10+ years in the industry to his role as Key Account Manager for ISCO in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Before joining the team, he led some of Baltimore’s most celebrated bar programs, winning several awards and cocktail competitions, as well as earning recognition from Baltimore MagazineFox45 BaltimoreBmore Eats, and Bmore Art Magazine. Tyler is thrilled to be able to share ISCO's story and spirits throughout RI and MA!

A New England native, Tyler grew up spending summers on Cape Cod and visiting family in Providence, so his relocation to Rhode Island in 2023 felt like a homecoming. Tyler lives in Providence’s Elmhurst neighborhood with his wife, Gabriela, and their two daughters, Isabel and Vera.

SAFLEY

Daniel Safley, our Distillery Growth + Innovation Manager, is a CIBD-certified distiller dedicated to the future of spirits. With over a decade in alcohol production and a deep foundation in hospitality, he combines technical precision with a people-first perspective on growth.

When he isn’t leading innovation strategies or untangling a complex fermentation project, Safley is likely out exploring the world—usually following his nose to the best local food, an innovative cocktail, or dancing the night away at a live music venue. Whether he’s traveling to find a new flavor or at home trying to outrun his wild dog, Stella Blue, he lives for a well-set table and a soulful soundtrack. Safley is a sucker for weird science, passport stamps, and events shared with friends—he firmly believes the ‘Angel’s Share’ should have been a little smaller and the bourbon poured a little stronger. Cheers!

johnny

As owner and founder of the Albany Distilling Company (since 2011), partner John Curtin knows a thing or two about distillation. He shares our founders’ deep love of Providence from the years he spent living in an artist loft just around the corner from our current location.
