ISCO Spirits hosts corporate events, company parties, holiday celebrations, birthdays, rehearsal gatherings, cocktail receptions, private tastings, and other special occasions in Providence, Rhode Island.

Our venue offers indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a working distillery atmosphere, and craft cocktails made with ISCO's own spirits.

How many guests can ISCO Spirits accommodate?

ISCO Spirits can accommodate gatherings of fewer than 50 guests as well as private events and full venue buyouts for groups of up to approximately 250+ guests. Options vary depending on the size of your group, the day of the week, and whether you're looking for exclusive use of the venue.

Can I host a smaller private party at ISCO Spirits?

Absolutely! For events with fewer than 50 guests Thursday through Sunday, we typically remain open to the public and don't charge a space fee. Just contact us in advance so we can coordinate. If you'd prefer exclusive use of the venue, our private buyout rates apply.

What is the difference between a simple event and a full-service event?

Simple Events (usually 50 guests or fewer):

ISCO coordinates your event and connects you with Easy Entertaining's set catering menus. Easy Entertaining handles food drop-off and can provide staffing for service and cleanup if needed.

Full-Service Events:

ISCO provides the venue, spirits, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and cleaning. Easy Entertaining manages food, beer, wine, staffing, rentals, additional vendors, event timelines, logistics, and day-of execution.

How much does it cost to rent ISCO Spirits for a private event?

Our private event space fees depend on the day of the week and number of guests:

For events with fewer than 50 guests Thursday through Sunday, we typically remain open to the public and waive the space fee.

Is there a food or beverage minimum for private events?

All private event buyouts have a two-drink-per-person minimum. Drinks include ISCO spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, typically priced between $10 and $12 each.

A 20% gratuity is added to the beverage total. Events with more than 50 guests also incur a flat $250 cleaning fee.

Beer and wine provided by Easy Entertaining do not count toward the two-drink minimum.

How is the drink minimum calculated?

For example, a 50-person private event has a minimum of 100 drinks.

If your guests order fewer than 100 drinks, the final beverage bill is adjusted to meet the minimum. If guests order more, you pay for the actual drinks served. A 20% gratuity is added to the beverage total.

Are there additional fees for larger private events?

Events with more than 50 guests have a $250 cleaning fee.

For events with more than 150 guests lasting longer than three active hours, a restroom trailer is required.

If you'd like us to move the outdoor furniture to accommodate your event layout, there is an additional $750 fee.

Yes! We've partnered with Easy Entertaining, a renowned Providence-based catering company, to offer everything from simple food drop-offs to fully staffed, full-service catering.

What alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available?

ISCO Spirits provides craft cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages for private events.

Our distillery produces sustainably sourced vodkas, gins, bourbons, and specialty spirits, giving guests a distinctive Rhode Island craft spirits experience.

For events with 50 or more guests, Easy Entertaining can also provide beer and wine. These beverages are billed separately and do not count toward ISCO's two-drink-per-person minimum.

Does ISCO Spirits have an outdoor space for private parties?

Yes. ISCO Spirits has an outdoor patio as well as indoor event spaces, making it a flexible venue for celebrations and gatherings in Providence. The outdoor space is covered and generally rain-proof.

Can I host a private tasting in the barrel room?

Yes! Our barrel room is ideal for private spirits tastings and educational sessions, either as part of a larger event or as a standalone experience.

Can children attend private events at ISCO Spirits?

Yes. Well-supervised children are welcome. Children ages 12 and older count toward the guest headcount and beverage minimums, with non-alcoholic drinks available.

Can I bring a DJ, band, or my own music?

Yes. ISCO has an in-house sound system that can play your playlist. Bands and DJs are also welcome, provided they bring their own equipment and observe our 75-decibel sound limit.

What time must private events end?

All private events must conclude by 10 PM out of respect for our residential neighbors.

What is the deposit and payment schedule?

A non-refundable deposit equal to half the space fee is due at booking.

Two weeks before your event, the remaining space fee, cleaning fee, and other fixed costs are due in full.

The final beverage balance and gratuity are settled by credit card at the end of the event.

ISCO bills directly for the venue and beverages. Easy Entertaining bills separately for its catering and related services.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. However, if you cancel more than two weeks before your event, you will not owe any additional charges.
