MADE FROM 100% BLUE CORN AGED AT LEAST TWO YEARS IN OAK

Ingredients: Handcrafted from scratch a blend of two different types of sustainably-farmed blue corn in a 100% Blue Corn mash bill. Bottled at a hearty 45% Alcohol by Volume or 90 Proof, 750 ML.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of toasted brown sugar give way to warm baking spices with subtle notes of chocolate and pepper, followed by a rich, robust caramel and roasted blue corn chip finish.

Cocktails: Best sipped neat, or over rocks. Or a Manhattan if you must!

Production Method: This unique bourbon is created from a singular blend of Mexican and American blue corns sourced from both small family farmers and larger organic producers. Intentionally youthful, yet Blue Velvet is a spirit that drinks “wise beyond its years”. After being cooked and fermented (fun fact: blue corn turns PINK when you ferment it due to a pH change that affects the anthrocyanins, the naturally occurring dyes with antioxidant properties that give blue corn its color!), we carefully distill this bourbon in small batches before resting it in charred new oak barrels for at least two years—our goal is to ensure the corns’ flavors remain the stars of the show.
